OCTOBER 2017 GLOBAL ASTROLOGICAL OVERVIEW PLUS YOUR HOROSCOPE

This is an important month in terms of astrological change.  Jupiter moves on the 10th into Scorpio for 12 months, after having being in Libra for 1 year. When Jupiter is in a sign, clearly it benefits that sign and to a lesser extent it benefits the signs in harmonious angle to Scorpio i.e. Pisces and Cancer and Capricorn and Virgo.  It also can enhance the opposite sign of Taurus, but provided in this case, that there is caution re over indulgence and extravagance or over reaching.

For Aquarians and Leos, Jupiter in Scorpio, being in square relationship to those signs, may also indicate a tendency to over expansive/over confident/over indulgent behaviour over the coming year..

Globally, Jupiter changing signs casts a global emphasis on the characteristics of that sign. In Scorpio over the coming year, it will accentuate intensity of emotion, not least very passionate feelings and ruthless attitudes related to political and religious ideology. Extremism passions perceived as both positive and negative are underlined and stubborn attachment to emotional responses, lacking in intellectual objectivity, is a danger. The senses and passions are strong. It is however good for medicine and discovery as well as all things forensic and which need deep research. It brings advances in healing power. Discoveries and revelations of hidden facts and secrets are underlined. Break throughs and fundamental truths are revealed, that solves mysteries and which can (optimistically), offer solutions to crisis and bring break throughs. Large-scale events connected to the world economy are also flagged up. Endings of certain economic systems  are likely.  Dark issues related to dubious and damaging economic dealings and which have proved very destructive are likely to be revealed.

 Issues to do with the power of sexuality are also underlined in some way.

            

            Generally this month, there is a significant mood of intensity, on a geophysical level globally, suggesting such events as earthquakes or volcanic activity being especially flagged up around the 15^th –22^nd when first Mercury and then the Sun oppose Uranus.

 Also around the 10^th the Sun opposes Pluto, which has momentous geo/political implications, and when the current stand off re North Korea and the US is critical… and the planet generally feels tense. Simultaneously Mars in Virgo squares up to Saturn, which creates much anger

Saturn also squares Chiron and Mars opposes Chiron mid month creating a T square, which adds to global vulnerability/pain.

Jupiter opposing Uranus in the first week of the month does also suggest that risk and daring is in the air and adrenalin flows.

Continuing up to the end of this year, Pluto is squaring up to Trump’s Jupiter. This once every 124 year transit, has since the beginning of 2017, been creating a very dangerous mood in Trump’s temperament, with a use of power and a ruthless egotistical attitude that has consequences of some very dangerous magnitude in terms of others response, as has already been manifested. Others want to trip you up the person (Trump) who is having this transit, in order to protect themselves from the ambitions and blind ego of that person. However this is also very likely going to bring a Trump family crisis, in terms of power abuse, that will impact him considerably.  From around the 14^th of October his long 15 week transit of Saturn opposition his Sun and conjuncting his Moon will be over.. . Saturn’s job will be done and the consequences of the lessons and challenges inflicted upon him during the last three and a half months will start to manifest powerfully in his life.

The Sun conjuncts Jupiter in the heavens in the last week of the month, so positivity and confidence raise its head globally then… However Jupiter conjuncting the Sun in Scorpio can also point to excessive passions and excessive confidence winning the day.

 The Moon is full on the 5th  in Aries  on the 19^th in Libra.

ARIES

Jupiter moves out of your opposite sign of Libra on the 10^th, having been there for a year, so you have all benefited quite significantly from relationship issues during this last 12 months and this month those who are finally going to receive the benefits of Jupiter are those born after April 16^th.  For this group, benevolence, extravagance and opportunities can come via others, as well as love and happiness.  It is also a time for travel, but just have a care that one isn’t over-trusting, over-generous or over-extravagant when it comes to significant others.  

 When Jupiter goes into Scorpio, that will put focus onto your areas, which connect with joint finances, depth of feelings and connections.  You will not be allowed to be superficial over the coming year, when it comes to relationships, but there can be bonuses connected to finances that are foreign or connected with partners or relatives. Luck in financial issues is indicated.

Relationship issues will loom large this month and before the 17^th you should all take the opportunity to ensure that communications about issues that need resolving are achieved.  This is the perfect time for doing so.

 After the 14th, for all born up to April 11^th, there are real opportunities to advance love life, to nurture it and to attract those to you who can bring joy, affection and happiness.

 However, because Mars will also be in your Solar 7th House after the 22^nd, if born up to March 27^th, there will be a time in that late month period, where this group could attract rather assertive people and some confrontation into your life.  Try not to be too bossy or controlling and beware others may respond in kind.

TAURUS

Jupiter moving into Scorpio for the next year, from the 10^th, is good news for your sign because it rules your Solar 7^th House of relationships.  This will bring luck, benefits, and expansion through other people and will enhance a partner’s situation too.  It can also bring travel, but there is a warning that extravagance and over-reaching, or even over-investing in others needs caution. This month those benefiting in this way, are all born up to April 25th

The second half of the month, for many of you, will bring specific bonuses to do with relationships and romance is definitely enhanced; and indeed as is communications with those close to you, which can enhance your relationships.

GEMINI

Jupiter’s once every year move into another sign happens on the 10^th of this month and moves into Scorpio then for the coming year.  In theory this should bring a boost to your everyday working life and health issues.  It brings opportunities to shine and particularly in areas of service to others. 

Before the 10^th, those benefiting from Jupiter are born after June 18^th.  For this small group, there is a real boost to your creative skills, a boost of fertility, a boost to anything that is to do with creative offspring, whether it is mental or physical and a need for fun and to be centre stage, to be joyful and to be very lucky in many ways.  Travel is very much on the cards and growth.  In many ways this is a month for so many of you to really enjoy the positive things of life, the fun and the romantic side of life. 

After the 22^nd for those born up to May 28^th will have great courage and determination and creative energy to achieve what is wanted and needed and you will be no shrinking violet in romance.

After the 14^th, if born up to June 12^th you are a magnet for affection and love and all of you can excel in writing and communication skills this month.

Saturn however is a slightly different story.  He is now directly opposing the Suns of those born June 12^th to 16^th.  As in June and July you’re feeling challenged again by others.  Reality checks around relationships loom large and you may feel burdened.  Obligations, duties and hard work is necessary. CANCER

Jupiter leaves Libra on the 10^th where he has been for a year and moves for a year into Scorpio.  This is very good for your sign.  It enhances your creative skills, your romantic issues and offspring issues and brings a little more fun and celebrations of life into high profile. 

This month, those being favoured in the above way by Jupiter are born up to June 27^th.   However for those born after July 18^th, need to be wary of over confidence and over reaching… but good times can roll.

Up to the 17^th, you all need to be aware that communications with family may need extra care.  Misunderstandings are possible.

After the 14^th, all born up to July 15^th may be tempted to be rather over-indulgent and a spendthrift related to home /family.

Before the 14^th, all born after July 5^th will be able to combine heart with mind and your charms will be of significant advantage to you.

Before the 22^nd, all born after July 7^th have Mars giving you a boost to your will and determination.  Ambition is strong and your intelligence, energy and drive is constructive.

LEO

Jupiter’s move into Scorpio on the 10^th, where he will be for a year, is not quite so supportive for you as he was when he was in Libra during the last 12 months.. 

Initially those born up to July 28^th and 29^th will be feeling the effects of Jupiter in Scorpio this month.  For this group and for all Leo’s in the coming year, at some point there will be a tendency to be foolishly over-expansive, or over-confident, or even a little arrogant.  One has to be aware of a bit of a sense of entitlement, and the potential to face a bit of a nemesis.  Extravagance certainly needs to be avoided and you need to live within your means.  You have to work for everything that you receive and not take things for granted.

Good news for Virgos as from the 10^th Jupiter moves into the compatible sign of  Scorpio.  From Scorpio he will enhance your communication skills and your mind and bring luck in travel. 

Initially those blessed this month will be those born up to August 29^th.  Confidence and growth is with you and knowledge and extra good communication skills are yours. 

However, for many of you this month, there are good planets on your side. 

Before the 14^th, all born after September 5^th have Venus flowing through your sign, which brings charm, love and financial benefits into your world.

All born after September 8^th are feeling confident, assertive, and powerful.  Just don’t let it tip into over-confidence or over-assertiveness, but your energy and ambitions are strong.  Keep them under control.

However, Saturn is a little oppressive now for those born September 14^th to 18^th.  As last June and July he is bringing some burdens and restrictions to your doors and you will feel tired, so you need to get rest.  This is a time for hard work, for duty, for obligation, for patience and for re-thinking issues.  Reality checks are there for a reason.  Remember Saturn is a benevolent despot and karmic schoolteacher.

Neptune is still haunting the Suns also of those born September 3^rd to 6^th.  This once every 165-year opposition has been with you for some months now and will not have finally dissipated until early 2018.  Quite simply you have been under a veil of potential illusion about others, or over-idealisation of others.  If you have put them on a pedestal, they are likely to fall off and if you are trying to save someone, they can become a liability.   Try to see people clearly and realistically and not through rose coloured spectacles, or whatever spectacles suits your emotional needs.  Certainly your sensitivity and empathy is huge, but it could be misdirected.  Keep grounded and get rest and seek the solace of nature and in the arts.

Finally, Pluto is very much the friend of those born September 8^th to 11^th.  For some time you have been feeling this empowering effect and for time to come.  It gives you regenerative transformative skills, creatively, romantically and connected to young people and offspring.  You have a sense of destiny and insight and a need to use your power wisely to make a positive difference for others, and by so doing for yourself. 

The new Moon in your sign on the 20^th falls at 27 degrees of Virgo directly impacting those born around the 18^th-20^th. New initiatives, new confidence and determination to sow metaphorical new good seeds for the future augur well.

LIBRA

For the last year Jupiter has been in your sign enhancing the lives of many of the natives of the scales; and at least having been given protection. 

From the 10^th he moves into Scorpio. 

However, before that date, all born after October 19^th will benefit in the last fling of Jupiter in your sign, by experiencing a sense of buoyancy, confidence, expansion, growth, luck and belief in yourself.  It is also very good for travel and for new opportunities.

Jupiter moves into Scorpio on the 10^th having been in Libra for a year.  Jupiter moves into each sign for a year, every twelve years. 

In Scorpio Jupiter, even though he is your ruling Planet is not directly related to your sign in any particular significant way, but at the least he will provide some psychological potential for peace and quiet protection.

In the meantime, before the 10^th, all born after December 18^th will be benefiting from last days of Jupiter in Libra.  For this group sociability is high, leadership skills are strong as is a feeling of well-being and luck and progress. 

From the 14^th all born up to December 13^th will be very grateful for friends and love-life and friendships can combine and sociability and harmony is strong.

CAPRICORN

Welcome news this month that Jupiter, having been for a year in Libra, is going to enter Scorpio, which he does every 12 years and will be in that sign for a year, which is good news for your sign being in compatible relationship. 

Initially those benefiting will be born up to December 27^th.  From Scorpio, Jupiter brings for this group and for the rest of you some time during the year a great sense of brotherhood with others.  He brings leadership skills.  He brings social life to the fore.  He brings good people into your friendship group and help from others.  He brings luck, support, intelligence, growth and travel; and you will want to work for the greater good, not just for yourself and you can do that successfully. 

 However if born after January 17^th, be careful of  being over confident or over reaching or even over relaxed re career .

Jupiter’s move away from Libra, where he has been for a year, into Scorpio on the 10^th puts his relationship with your sign in a square angle.  This is not particularly bad, but it is not as proactively supportive as you’ve had with Jupiter in Libra. 

Before the 10^th however, those born after February 14^th will benefit from the last few degrees of Jupiter in Libra.  For this group, travel is very highly underlined, study success, wise minds, super conscious awareness, luck and growth is yours. 

However, after the 10^th, those born up to January 26^th may feel a little over-confident, a tendency to expect too much of life or of themselves, or to bite off more than you can chew, particularly career wise.  Have a little moderation, but positivity can be yours.
